Perfumery Workshops

Hands-on & fun

Our half-day courses are enjoyable learning experiences for families & friends, as well as small corporate and wedding groups.

All-inclusive

We provide all the materials you’ll need to make your own perfume. Plus, coffee on arrival and prosecco (+ non-alcohol options) after.

Free perfumes

You take away your own 15ml perfume, plus receive a 2ml Olentium perfume and enjoy 10% off any of our perfumes.

Workshop overview

What you learn

The Olentium perfume-making workshop*
is fun, informal and a feast for the olfactory senses.

The half-day, perfume-making workshop lasts around 4-5 hours
and starts with a brief introduction to perfumery history
and the building blocks of traditional perfumes – the notes and accords

In this hands-on, practical session, you develop a personal perfume.
You train your nose to select your materials
– the essential oils and resins and more –
and learn the art of blending to create your perfume
with its top, heart and base notes.

*Liz also offers mini workshops in the form of scent bars for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events.

Perfume & Prosecco

What’s Included

All materials and notes are included, plus refreshments and light snacks.
You leave with a greater appreciation of fragrance and foundational skills of perfume making, your 10ml personal perfume, plus a 2ml vial of an Olentium fragrance.

*Suitable for:
Anyone who would love to know more about perfume
and to train their nose to appreciate fragrance.
The course is suitable for beginners from age 14 up.

Venue:
We host courses in Olentium’s base – a traditional Maltese village house
in one of the island’s most characterful villages.
The location is central and takes around 20 minutes by car from Valletta.

Workshop sizes & costs:
We welcome groups of a minimum of 2 pax.
Groups >6 people are hosted in a Valletta venue.

€150 per person for groups of two.
€135 per person for 3 to 6 people.
Discounts available for larger group bookings.
