A key ingredient in R&R 12/24 promoting radiance and protecting the skin from daytime environmental stressors, Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate is an innovative, highly-stable, lipid-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It works to reduce the visible signs of dark spots and skin ageing, and acts as an antioxidant and in stimulating collagen synthesis.
WATERMELON, LEMON AND GRAPE SEED OILS
These three oils are easily absorbed and give Ritual & Restore its drier skin feel and non-comedogenic properties that make the beauty oil ideal for daytime use. All are ancient Mediterranean oils and act as light astringents to tone, detox and boost the skin’s circulation. Together, these oils are excellent sources of essential fatty acids (EFAs) and an array of skin-beneficial vitamins.
BORAGE, ROSEHIP AND PRICKLY PEAR OILS
A trio of Ritual & Restore’s nourishing oils and hard-working emollients, providing Vitamin E boosts and a rich source of gamma linoleic (GLA) essential fatty acids.
Our olive-derived squalane is a natural lipid film invaluable in preventing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and giving the skin a supple and smooth feel. Squalane is a natural property of our skin but depletes with ageing.
SAFFLOWER SEED OIL (Carthamus tinctorius seed oil)
Safflower has been in use since ancient Egyptian times has been called ‘the forgotten cosmetics’ plant’. It is an excellent emollient and also contains strong melanin-inhibiting properties making it an interesting ingredient to act on the signs of hyperpigmentation.
